Unwanted Dignity

This was one of those in-between sketches for me! I don't know, I guess I was back to the greyness of a snow-filled day.

And I wanted to invoke a feeling of decay in a barren wasteland! [Like, no matter how much the odds are pushed against me, I just survive day to day over here.]

I guess this one has to do with dealing with a horrible disease or the lingering criticisms of it all. Whether it be through something like a cancer, depression or AIDS or something a person does not want....but it stuck with all of the same. Brain damage or anything else that may be benign or underlying.

Or on another level, losing somebody to a disease. This was solely a pencil sketch that went right for me, right to the gut that is! Drawing this through a post-traumatic disorder of a mind, well that was not a stretch for me either, seeing as how I had suffered with it for an extremely long time!

Well, it is what it is! Anyway, I suppose it has a lot of depth for a sketch!
