Me And My Shuttlecocks

This is a picture of myself at the backyards of The Nelson-Atkins Museum in Kansas City, Missouri. I get depressed sometimes, knowing that I have been left out of the equation of not being on a plane in 25 years. But going to The Nelson always seems to cheer me up a bit...even after the treacheries of Snowmageddon! [It was a pretty clear day then!]

Luckily, there is a place that I can feel creative and I belong with the true legends of art. The Shuttlecocks were designed by Claes Oldeberg and Coosje van Bruggen.

I am sitting by a shuttlecock on a Friday afternoon in the Nelson's backyard! Contemplating life and all of it's strange complexities...it really frees the mind! Anyway, I hope you like this picture!!!
